Pembrokeshire's thriving adventure scene all began with Preseli Venture back in the 80s, who, along with a handful of other local guides, pioneered the now global phenomenon of “coasteering”. For over 35 years, Preseli Venture set the bar for sustainable adventure tourism, working in harmony with the astounding wilderness of their surrounding environment and maintaining a working partnership with the National Trust and National Parks to use their nearby pristine locations for coasteering, surfing and sea kayaking adventures.
After what seems like a very, very long day at sea, Preseli Venture have finally come ashore, shed their wetsuits and closed the doors of their onsite adventure centre. They now work with an exciting range of local activity partners who they trust to bring you the same high-quality experiences.

ECO ACCOMMODATION
Located on the North Pembrokeshire coast, between Fishguard and St Davids, Preseli Venture is just a 20-minute walk from the wild, secluded, sand-and-shingle beach of Abermawr and its magical little neighbouring bay, Aberbach. From here you can join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, an undulating national trail that hugs the vast and varied coastline for 186 miles.
THE ECO BARN
Preseli Venture recently unveiled the newest addition to its range of self-catering accommodation: a spacious four-bedroom Dutch barn conversion on the North Pembrokeshire Coast, just a short walk from Abermawr beach. Making the most of its unbeatable location, a large open-plan living-come-dining room on the upper level features floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors opening out onto a balcony with panoramic views of the surrounding wooded valley, stretching to the rocky volcanic outcrop of Garn Fawr and the wild North Pembrokeshire coastline.
The eco barn stands apart from the eco lodges and sleeps up to 8 guests, making it the perfect sanctuary for larger families and groups or those wanting more of their own space. A unique and tasteful conversion with characterful design features and tranquil spaces designed for relaxing and coming together.
COURTYARD COTTAGES
The former eco lodge is currently being renovated into a series of self-contained cottages around a courtyard, each with its own kitchen facilities and living space. These beautifully presented lodges will be in a range of sizes to suit all kinds of adventurers; solo-travellers, couples, small families, large families and small groups.
There will be some private garden areas for individual lodges but the outdoor spaces you will remember, such as the lawn and courtyard will continue to offer a sense of vibrant community where children can play and roam freely whilst adults can get together for a local brew around the bonfire.
THE CAMPSITE
Next door is Preseli Glamping, a peaceful family campsite offering spacious grass pitches, hardstanding campervan pitches and a geodesic dome.
