Sea Glass

Sea Glass is a well equipped, warm and comfortable purpose built holiday home on the South Pembrokeshire coast. Less than 10 minutes walk from Freshwater East beach and the Coast Path.

About Sea Glass

Sea Glass sleeps four guests and is situated in a well maintained holiday village in the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. This compact, comfortable holiday home is well equipped and provides light and airy accommodation perfect for a couple or small family. Price includes storage heating, electricity and bed linen but please bring your own towels as they are not provided. Guests can enjoy views of the beach and across the valley to farmland from the front windows, with a wooded hillside rising behind. Ideal for a holiday all year round, Sea Glass is equipped with storage heaters and double glazing for warm and cosy winter breaks, and a grassy area with garden seat to the front for sitting out in the warmer months. Please note: there is a bit of a climb from the parking space either up a long slope or up a few short flights of steps!

The beautiful sandy Freshwater East beach is just a few minutes walk from Sea Glass. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path can be joined at the entrance to the site. There is a bar with meals on site. In the village of Freshwater East is the welcoming Freshwater Inn. Lamphey is just two miles away and has a mainline station with direct trains to Pembroke and Swansea (plus direct connections to London, Midlands etc), plus a shop, post office, petrol station and pubs. There are also several other good pubs within a few miles.

The attractive village of Manorbier with its stunning Norman castle offering wonderful views, Stackpole Quay (with a National Trust cafe) and the Bosherston Estate with its renowned lily ponds can all be reached along the coastal path on foot, or by car. Carew castle, the Bishops Palace at Lamphey and Colby Woodland gardens are also worth a visit and easily accessible within a half hour drive, as are Tenby and Saundersfoot.

The nearby historic town of Pembroke has a magnificent castle and mill pond; Pembroke Dock has extensive facilities including supermarkets, shops, cafes and pubs and is just six or seven miles away.
