Embark on this fully guided, 1.5 hour boat trip, aboard our specially designed Rib, departing from Fishguard Harbour Port. Here, you will delve into the fascinating history of the port and town, before heading off on an exploration along the coast towards Strumble Head.

Witness the captivating landing site from the last French Invasion of Britain in 1797, and be mesmerised by the breathtaking cliffs and geological formations. As you learn about its intriguing past, you’ll culminate the journey with unparalleled views of the Strumble Head lighthouse.

Throughout the trip, you may encounter various seabird species, including visiting Auks, Kittiwakes, and Fulmars, as well as witnessing gannets diving for food in the tide. The towering cliffs also serve as a sanctuary for rare species such as the Chough and Peregrine Falcon.

Whilst out on this voyage, we frequently encounter Atlantic grey seals, and the resident Harbour porpoise who can be seen feeding in the tidal races. The Strumble Head area is an excellent location for whale-watching, and is not uncommon to observe Common or Bottlenose dolphins, and occasionally Risso’s dolphin.

During the summer months, it is more common to spot dolphins in Fishguard harbour, with regular sightings of pods of up to 50 dolphins, often accompanied by their young calves.
