Basalt & Dune

Nestled up a side street in Britain's smallest city, you'll find Basalt & Dune. A small, beautifully curated gift shop that's full to the brim with original local art, gifts, homewares and handmade ceramics from local craftspeople and from further afield.

The shop is run by creative mother and daughter duo Nicola and Gaby. Nicola's Pembrokeshire landscape paintings and prints adorn the walls and form the shop's earthy colour palette which changes gently with the seasons. You'll find her art both in store and online. Daughter Gaby also has a creative background (textile designer by trade) and you'll also find some of her designs in store too.

Sourcing products that sit within the shop's motto of "Beautiful, Practical, Coastal", Gaby and Nicola work closely with talented makers to bring together a range of handmade pieces that reflect Pembrokeshire and coastal living.

Their aim was to create a store where people feel calm, relaxed and able to shop at their leisure. The beautiful surroundings of Pembrokeshire make you want to take a slower pace and to stop, look and appreciate. They convey this feeling of a life lived more slowly both in-store and online by sourcing products that encapsulate the essence of their natural surroundings.
