We are tucked away in a secluded position, surrounded by fields and trees at the bottom of a wooded valley, complete with a stream babbling past, and at the very end of a private lane. Although this sounds like we are in the middle of nowhere, the small market town of Aberteifi (Cardigan) is only four miles away, and lovely unspoilt beaches, waterfalls, and mountains are only a short drive from our cottages.
This picture postcard peaceful location, with wildlife abounding, is home to five former farm buildings which have been lovingly restored to provide quality cosy accommodation that has been graded five stars by Visit Wales. You can sense the working past of these cottages, with initials of stable boys and farm hands from days gone by etched in the slate which features extensively in the structure of the cottages. Their original charm has been retained and sits tastefully alongside modern, cosy comfort, with high quality appliances, décor and furnishings and local artwork. Each cottage has WiFi, a smart TV or TV stick providing access to the popular streaming channels, as well as a woodburner laid ready for your arrival, and a welcome pack of tea, coffee and hot chocolate so guests can park outside their cottage and get right in and make themselves at home.
Troedyrhiw Holiday Cottages is dog friendly too, with lovely woodland walks from the cottage, and just a few minutes from a choice of river walks and unspoilt dog friendly beaches. Guests at Troedyhiw are welcome to explore the grounds of the retired farm, and visit our Kune Kune pig, Blossom the Shetland pony, and Ted the gypsy cob, as well as buy delicious sunshine-yellow tasty eggs from out free range hens.
A scrummy hamper full of delicious local produce can also be arranged on request, containing local cheeses, butter, brownies, sausages, bacon and other produce.
