Penally Abbey Hotel

As you find it today, Penally Abbey is a true labour of love for husband and wife team Lucas and Melanie Boissevain. Falling for the charming 18th Century property in 2014, they saw a definite niche for a small, intimate luxury hotel and top quality restaurant to serve Tenby and the surrounding area.

An interior designer by profession, it was Melanie's task to give the hotel's unique interior spaces and guest rooms an inspired new lease of life. Introducing cool, elegant lighting and colour schemes, helped by a wealth of character features and carefully selected furnishings, the house has never looked better.

The same could be said about the delightful historic grounds and hotel restaurant. Bringing a keen interest in local history and a love of great food, Lucas has dedicated himself to the task of putting Penally Abbey and its grounds firmly on the map as a different breed of hotel complementing the hotel's unique coastal surroundings and history.
