Gwynfryn Guest House is a large, handsome detached home standing in its own grounds complete with ample private parking. We have modern, fresh bedrooms all en suite with stunning countryside and distant coastal views on the south side, to views of the Preseli Mountains on the North side. It’s an ideal central location to find award winning beaches and a multitude of attractions. Gwynfryn is a non-smoking establishment.
All bedrooms are on the first floor of the house with no lift available.
Great thought has gone into the bedrooms with each having a different look and feel but to the same high standard using Welsh designer “Laura Ashley” décor and fabrics. All fixtures and furniture are solid oak giving them a modern, yet cosy and comfortable style. Each room has a hospitality tray with some lovely welsh cakes to enjoy , complimentary water, full length mirrors, slim line flat screen LED HDMI TV's with Freeview and wireless internet is available throughout guest areas.
All rooms are en-suite with showers, with the exception of the family room which also has a bath. Sensor controlled illuminated mirrors and shaver point. Hairdryers are supplied in the bedrooms
Breakfast is served between 7.30 am and 9:00 am in the guest dining room. Log burner to warm you like toast on the cooler mornings. Earlier breakfast available on request.
We use the freshest, locally sourced ingredients to ensure guests have the best possible start to the day. Packed lunches also available when ordered the night before.
Directions
We are situated in the small village of Tavernspite, 4 miles east of Narberth on the B4134, 3 miles SW of Whitland on the B4328, which sits on the A40 to Haverfordwest/Fishguard and just 1 mile in off the A 477 to Tenby and Pembroke.
On the border of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire which makes it the perfect location for exploring both counties.
Rail to Whitland or Narberth where we can arrange to pick you up if required. Local bus service is limited. Essentially your own transport is required.
